Health, according to the world
health organization, is “a state of
complete physical, mental and social
well-being and not merely the
absence of disease and infirmity”.
As today’s youth is engulfed in
technology we often push our health
aside, even as adults we often see
ourselves consuming take outs
rather than homemade food.
As easy it seems to eat an apple
every single day it’s hard to actually
get this habit in our daily life.

Self-care is the practice of
individuals looking after their own
health using the knowledge and
information available to them.
Taking care of yourself is as
important as you need oxygen to live!
Health includes physical and mental
well-being of a person and self-care is
a way where you not only improve
your health but also it benefits you
in several ways!
Now, the question arises how you
take care of yourself?
The answer’s really easy actually!
The best way to treat yourself is
gratitude, be thankful for every
single thing/person who’s out there
always lighting up your day.
Another way is to adopt some
habits, it can be anything that
benefits you, waking up early or
taking your dog on a walk every day,
it can anything which gives you
happiness
Appreciation is also crucial, you must
appreciate yourself, be kind to not
only others but to yourself too!
Now, why self-care? Why must you
focus on your well being?
