Leave and Absence

  • Leave or absence for a period should be sent on the prescribed proforma to the class teacher. Prior sanction for the same should be taken.
  • A student returning to school after a contagious or infectious disease should produce a fitness certificate from the doctor.
  • All students are expected to attend school on the first working day after each vacation.
  • Absence without leave May incur a fine as given below:
  • Classes LKG-XII : Rs.01 per day
  • Continuous absence form the school for more than 7 consecutive days without leave or unexplained absence renders the student liable to have his/her name struck off as per the school rules.
  • Students need to fulfill the criteria of 80% of attendance for the academic year in order to be considered for promotion.
  • A child returning to school after suffering from an infectious disease should produce a fitness certificate from a doctor and report to the school physician before joining the class.
  • Student suffering from any one of the following diseases must observe the prescribed period of quarantine before returning to class.
